As former tenants, we had to give notice to vacate our flat at the end of June. A lot of things went wrong with the subsequent search for a new flat, so that by the end of May we still didn't have a new place in sight and things were getting tight. Under these circumstances, we decided to buy the small condominium in Mettmenstetten, which we had already viewed once a few weeks ago, if the flat was still available. Subsequently, everything happened very quickly: Mrs. Grüter, whom we already knew from the aforementioned as well as another flat viewing from earlier, enabled us to make another viewing appointment. We explained to her our intention to buy if everything could be done very quickly (the flat was already finished except for a few small details). And then it actually happened that after exactly two more weeks we completed the purchase at the notary and immediately held the keys for our new little home in our hands! Of course, we were all the more pleased because it was the first home of our own for us, an already elderly couple. We got to know Mrs. Grüter as a friendly and competent real estate agent on the occasion of our home purchase as well as during earlier viewings. We would especially like to emphasise her constant availability and her immediate response to all our questions and wishes! Nevertheless, she was and was never stressed or pressured during the viewings with regard to the time frame, but simply always communicated openly and honestly (at least this was our impression). We had never experienced this before with any other estate agent during our long and unsuccessful search for a home. So we can only report positive things and thank Ms Grüter for her commitment and help in our search and purchase of our own home!
